Reverently named after the neighboring village of Tula, this farm stands as a beacon of excellence in the realm of coffee cultivation. Within its sprawling domain, approximately 400 hectares are adorned with meticulously nurtured coffee plants, boasting a captivating array of Ethiopian varieties and cultivars. Notably, the farm proudly preserves the legacy of 1970s cultivars, such as the revered 74110 and 74112, their names resonating with the heritage of their inception. \n \n  \n \n  \n \nThe exceptional care bestowed upon the coffee cherries is immediately evident. Once plucked from their branches, the cherries are promptly depulped, ensuring the preservation of their exquisite flavors. As if choreographed with utmost precision, the beans embark on a transformative journey. Submerged in water, they undergo a delicate 36-hour fermentation period, unlocking their hidden nuances. Bathed in flowing canals, the beans are tenderly washed, purifying them before they find solace in a soothing soaking tank, allowing their flavors to harmonize.
